Kieran – NuBeginnings Trainer
Kieran a key member of the NuBeginnings Training team. He motivates you to keep fit and healthy throughout your stay and when you return home. He is a qualified Boxing Tutor and uses his knowledge and positive attitude to help guide you towards leading a fitter, healthier lifestyle.
Adam – NuBeginnings Trainer
Adam has a military career spanning a decade. Extremely well informed on nutrition and body composition he is uniquely well placed to ensure you reach your goals with ease. He is hugely encouraging and works hard to get the most out of you whilst you are here. He is extremely supportive and understanding.
Debbie – Pilates
Debbie has over 10 years experience teaching Pilates to a wide variety of people. She is also a running coach and listed with the guild of pregnancy and and post natal exercise instructors.
Rachael – Pilates
Rachael is a Royal Ballet school Graduate and an ex-Professional ballet dancer. She trained as a Body Control Pilates Instructor in Covent Garden, London in 2001 and has since gained extensive experience working in Pilates studios in London, Barnstaple, Melbourne and Sydney, before starting up her own business in 2006.
In 2007 Rachael qualified as a Classical ballet teacher through the Royal Academy of Dance, London, she is a member of the Register of exercise for professionals, the Body Control Pilates association and a Registered teacher for the Royal Academy of Dance.
Shibashi was developed by Professor Lin Hou-Sheng in 1979. Professor Lin, a renowned Qigong Master, scientist and Master Healer, recognised the health benefits of Tai Chi and developed eighteen exercises based on both the philosophy of Tai Chi & Qigong, and some of the movements of the Yang style Tai Chi Chuan. The exercises were kept simple hence they are easy to learn and practice. Great emphasis is placed on synchronizing the 18 movements with proper breathing techniques.
Jon – Personal Trainer
Jon is a fully qualified level three personal trainer. He was a PTI for the army for over 20 years and is a gentle, kind addition to the NuBeginnings team. He specialises in getting the very best results for you and will ensure you are absolutely clear on what to do when you get home.
Cap – Hiking Guide
Cap is a local guide who loves to share his enthusiasm and knowledge of the area with our guests.
Cap has been guiding for many years and is well known locally for his expertise. As an ex-fireman and active lifeguard you know you are in good hands.
Karen – Dance
Karen will shake your “booty” in her wonderful dance classes. She has taught and performed in various styles of dance throughout the world including ballet, tap, contemporary, jazz and salsa. She is a force to be reckoned with. Her salsa classes are a favourite at NuBeginnings and everyone raves about what fun they are.
Molly – Yoga
Molly has been practicing yoga for 17 years and has been teaching in the UK for more than 5 years. She works exclusively with NuBeginnings clients with gentle Hatha yoga and breathing exercises to help you to attune yourself to your body and to stretch and relax your muscles.
Gemma – Dance
Gemma loves to teach you how to dance – jazz, zumba and disco are all in her repertoire. Gemma’s dance and stretch class is one of the favourites at NuBeginnings.
Mary – Hiking Guide
Our most gentle hiking guide. Wonderful at helping you to achieve far more than you believed you could.
Amazingly well informed on local flaura and fauna she will keep you entertained during your walk as well as supporting you to achieve your very best.
Jess – Hiking Guide
With more than 10 years hiking experience Jess knows the local area incredibly well and will ensure that you have the most wonderful walks no matter what the weather. She is particularly good at tailoring the walks to suit your fitness levels.
Terry – Hiking Guide
Terry has been working in the North Devon area as a hiking guide for more than 15 years. There are no hikes he does not know and no terrains he is not keen to share with you. One of our most experienced guides he will push you to achieve your very best.
