Dinner This Evening
Often people ask me how to manage when having guests round or going out to dinner.
I figure what better way to tell you how I do it than to describe the dinner I am making for friends this evening…
We are starting with puy lentil salad and goats cheese, then for the main course I have made chicken cacciatore (with black olives to spice things up a bit – so to speak) served with green beans and baby new potatoes. Desert is banana bread (packed with lovely mushed bananas and walnuts) and fresh strawberries.
So as long as the portions are sane there is nothing in there that wouldn’t fit into any self respecting diet book. As long as I don’t announce that dinner is a dieters dream they shall be none the wiser and thoroughly enjoy it.
